Business Ready Cloud Communications
Newmarket, ON – Unity Connected Solutions announces a new hosted telephone service, Hosted IP Office. Hosted IP Office is the latest in a suite of cloud based communications services from Unity Connected Solutions. Hosted IP Office is powered by the industry leading and award winning Avaya IP Office.
“We are committed to a future that includes cloud based unified communications,” stated Randy Bergeron, CEO. “With Hosted IP Office we are fulfilling a request from our customers who wanted a business ready solution. They asked for a solution that offers as much capability as they could currently acquire in a premise based solution but delivered with all of the advantages of a cloud solution.”
The initial version of Hosted IP Office is based on Release 9.1 of Avaya’s IP Office. The Hosted IP Office is housed in a Tier 3 data centre based in Montreal (future Vancouver) creating a unique Canadian solution.
“Hosted IP Office has exactly the same features a typical business uses in a modern telephone system”, said Brian Ochab, Cloud Practice leader “but offered in the way they want to ‘consume’ the technology. Customers who have been sitting on older systems, particularly from Nortel and Avaya, now have the perfect migration path. There is no compromise in capability because it is a cloud based communications solution.”
